The AFG Impact
Aspire for Greatness work to impact the African minority in Norway by focusing on promoting youth health and well-being through culturally competent projects tailored to drive inclusion and understanding.
At Aspire for Greatness, ethnic minorities from all backgrounds are our essential partners and leaders—they bring forward the insights needed to identify gaps in our community and co-create the solutions. Together, we build pathways for ethnic minorities to thrive and shape a more inclusive future.
What we do
We serve as a bridge between the Norwegian support system and African and ethnic minorities who require assistance with social, health and welfare services.
We do this by developing projects that respond to the needs identified by African and other minorities in Norway. In partnership with them, we build platforms for cultural expression, skill development and advocacy, equipping minorities to shape their own futures and enrich our communities.
We Find & Fund
We act as a platform for positive change among African and other minorities. We identify and encourage African minorities to bring up ideas to improve their community. We work to secure the support that turn these initiatives into tangible sustainable projects.
We mentor
African and other minority youth particularly those from single parent families need a helpful hand and right guidance. Aspire for Greatness help these vulnerable youth through our mentorship program.
We educate
We develop and facilitate culturally competent programs and workshops that are both creative and educational. We aim for the African minority youth who participate to apply their learning to benefit themselves and their community.
We team up
We engage with our local communities. By teaming up with parents, guardians and local organizations, we create a network that support Africans and other minorities in Norway.
